Massimo Penna

Massimo Penna has been the owner since 1996 and personally supervises all operations in the vineyard and in the winery, located in Madonna di Como, Alba.
The Estate, of 20 hectares,  extends its top-end vines to La Morra, cru of Barolo, and uses low-impact cultivation techniques. Among the different wines produced, Barolo and Barbaresco are fermented spontaneously. Massimo Penna is one of the few wineries which makes Alba DOC, an extremely recent appellation, a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera.
